REDEFINING A 120 YEAR-OLD MEDIA BRAND FOR THE WAY WE LIVE TODAY

From 2009-2018, Dadascope worked in lockstep with executives on both the editorial and business sides of Time Inc./Sunset publishing to spearhead communications strategies for the beloved and trusted brand as well as conceptualize and promote editorial and marketing franchises, packages and events designed to drive revenue, sponsorship and consumer engagement. From Sunset Idea Houses in cities across the West to its flagship Celebration Weekend and the Sunset Western Garden franchise of books and live plants, Dadascope was an integrated member of the team that established Sunset as the defining lifestyle brand of the modern American West.

Dadascope launched Matter, Medium's first native publication featuring long-form, magazine-style articles. From launch strategy to messaging, media training to media outreach, we successfully established Matter writers as credible news sources on key topics, driving traffic to feature stories via high-profile media outlets. Our work helped to drive millions of media impressions, elevate the profile of Matter/Medium and illustrate a new gold standard in long-form online journalism.
